Federal Senator David Leyonhjelm Defending Use of Electronic Cigarettes
The Brisbane Times reports that Health Minister Lawrence Springborg has introduced legislation in the Queensland Parliament which will make "vaping" as socially taboo as smoking. 'Federal Senator David Leyonhjelm has lashed out at the Queensland government – labelling Premier Campbell Newman a "control freak" – after the government moved to make e-cigarettes privy to the same regulations as their tobacco counterparts."
The New South Wales Liberal Democrat, Senator is an advocate of low taxes, reduced regulation and free markets and openly states that Australia is becoming a nanny state.
